Boston Theater Company (BTC) is at the intersection of arts, athletics, and inclusion, and is dedicated to creating thoughtful experiences for, with, and about marginalized communities. We achieve our goals by creating programs that celebrate our shared humanity, amplifying voices that are often left out, and encouraging cross-cultural communications. BTC presents innovative experiences that are illuminating, educational, transformative, and contribute to the vibrancy of the Boston area.

Boston Theater Company is committed to exploring and demonstrating how storytelling, theater education, and athletics should be for anyone and everyone.
Grounded in social awareness, with a particular focus on the LGBTQ+ community, we champion inclusivity, work to break down racial barriers, and celebrate the transformative power we have as artists. We produce programs that engage voices that are often left out as well as promote health and wellness. All our activities are gender expansive and have an equitable pay scale to remove financial barriers.
